Happy Holidays!

I hope you are enjoying your December so far! We are getting our first snow of the season.....maybe our only snow of the season and it's so exciting! We rarely get snow in this part of Oregon. But rain is no stranger. :)

I love this time of year and all of the holiday crafts, but **ALWAYS** seem to run out of time. I did a few holiday bazaars in early December, which pushed my Etsy work back unfortunately. I do finally have some new tags go to my SHOP and check it out. :)

Here are a few of the goodies:

I am hoping to keep up the momentum and keep new things listed. Wish me luck.

Bye for now~

::Baby Update:: 6 Weeks!

I thought I'd share a couple of new baby Ella pictures with you all. :)

Time sure is flying by that I can hardly believe it. In some ways it seems like she has been with us forever, in another it seems like she was born just yesterday. I am trying to be good about taking pictures, but realize it's much harder with #3 than with #1. With my first I would take several pictures of her EVERY DAY, now a week will pass and I realize I haven't even taken a single picture! Hopefully she will forgive me someday when she is looking at her baby book and photo album that is 1/5 the size of her sister's! :(

Here she is at 10 days:

Here she is at about 1 month:

(love this picture!)

Here she is at 6 weeks:

And here's one of all 3 kiddos:

Okay, that's enough baby pictures (I'm sure you're thinking).
Happy Saturday!!

::A Package of Fabric Goodness::

A happy hello from this long lost blogger!

We are 6 weeks into life with 3 kids under 5. It is getting easier each day, and I am finding my "groove" little by little. I am feeling the desire to get crafty, now it's just finding the time! I have ideas that will hopefully come to life before I forget them all together. I should really jot things down a litle better.

I thought I'd share this **GORGEOUS** bag of fabric scraps I bought from Ashley at Lassie Girl. If you have any need for fabric bit.........I highly recommend her!

I couldn't stop looking at it..............Here are a couple of pictures:

I can't decide which is my favorite. I am tempted to buy more. I am such a stockpiler! We'll see.

Happy day!

Baby Ella is Here!

Summer greetings to you!

Our baby girl ELLA arrived last week, June 19th, 2008. We are all doing great.

She weighed 8lbs 12 oz and was 20 inches long.

Her big sister and big brother are excited and loving her to pieces.
I plan to begin creating new goodies for my ETSY SHOP soon!

Have a great day~

New Tags!

Finally.........some new tags are going to be entering my Etsy shop later today! I am suppose to be "nesting" right now (baby is due in 4 days), but instead I am feeling creative. The poor baby! :)

Here are a couple of samples of the new goodies:
Please excuse the photos.......we have just gotten a new laptop, but don't have our photo editing program loaded yet. Hopefully soon. I am missing it terribly!!
Well, that's all for now. Today is my daughter's last day of preschool, and I am taking in some teacher's gifts. I'll show you those once I take some pictures. :O)
Have a great week!

Aren't These Fun???

Happy Saturday!
I have to admit, I am not a great blogger! I do apologize.......We have 2 computers, both with issues. Our newest computer (the laptop) now has a broken LCD screen, so I can only see half of it. I never realized how important the WHOLE screen is while you are working, uploading pictures....anything. There are so many important "buttons" down there, and now it takes for ever to hunt around in the blackness to hit the right one. Ugh. Apparently the cost to repair the screen is not worth it, so looks like we may be buying a new one. With a baby coming next month, its not *really* what we need to be spending money on.
Okay, now I'm typing in the blackness and cannot see what I'm typing.
I wanted to share these pictures from TAMMY TUTTEROW. I love her work!! She is a designer for Pink Paislee. I love their products too! Aren't they fun??? If I wasn't so tired at this stage of pregnancy, I' try to make one or both!
Bye for now~
Okay, Gtta run~

My New Fabric!

I mentioned in my last post that I had picked up some new flannel fat quarters for a baby I thought I'd share them with you. Our baby girl is due in June and I would love to finish something before then. I love these pinks & greens and think I'll mix them up with some chenille fabric. I have *tons* of chenille, both vintage and new, that I was collecting a few years back when I was on a quilting kick.

What do you think??

Grandmas Quilt....One of My Favorites!

Hello! I hope you all are having a great Saturday. I have not been crafting as much as I would like lately. The last few weeks seem to have been busy with my son's birthday, Easter, visiting my Mother-in-Law after her knee replacement, and the whole family being sick as well. Ugh. We are also expecting baby #3, our last addition to the family, except maybe a dog in future years to come (WAY into the future!) I feel the need to purge some of the "stuff" that seems to accumulate so quickly when you have kids. I have been trying to do that too (slowly). AND...we still need to get the baby's room ready, but are trying to figure out if my daughter is old enough to share a room with her (the baby is a girl!). So......we are on "hold" with that project for the moment. All of the bedding and goodies are purchased......just ready for a home. I *love* it! It's a shabby pink & blue floral set from Pottery Barn Kids. We even have the matching set for my older daughter.......hope that plan works out!

I have lots of new stamps, paper & fun supplies that are calling my name and patiently waiting to be turned into something POSH & PRETTY......maybe a little fun too. Hopefully this weekend I can get somethings finished and put into the shop! I keep starting new I just need to finish some. ;)

I thought I'd share a picture of one of my favorite quilts made by my 91 year old Grandma Vera. She no longer is able to quilt, but has made hundreds in her lifetime. For some reason I just love this one!! My sister was lucky enough to get this one. :)
I seem to think I am going to make a baby quilt in the coming month or so and picked up an assortment of really pretty flannels in pink & sage green. I'll have to take a picture and share with my blog friends. I have tons of chenille that I want to mix with it. We'll see if I can actually complete that project.
~Have a wonderful Saturday!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy Monday & Happy St. Patrick's Day! Our household isn't feeling too festive today......we all came down with awful colds over the weekend. I did manage to make up "leprechaun milk & leprechaun macaroni and cheese" for the kids today. :) We aren't even wearing green! GASP!

Not much to share today.....with the colds and my son's birthday I haven't created much in the past few days. Here are a few tag sets I did before the weekend.

A Couple of My Favorite Pictures~~

Happy Sunday! Today is my son's 2nd birthday.......a day filled with dump trucks, bulldozers & "diggers"...everything he loves right now!

I just wanted to share a few pictues I love! The studio pictures are HEATHER BAILEY'S studio. I am so jealous! Check out her blog.....

The other photo is a cloth scrapbook.........and I cannot remember who created it...but I LOVE IT!!

Happy Spring!

I can't beleive it's already SPRING! It feels great to see the sun and actually get outside a little bit. Now it's time to plant flowers and clean up the yard. :)

I have been slowly working on some new Spring tags for my Etsy shop. Here is a sample of some new ideas.

I hope you are all enjoying this time of year...and aren't trapped in all that snow that is falling around parts of the country.

Have a great day!

Getting Ready for the Day of Love!

I thought I'd make a quick post and show a few pictures of some things I've been working on for my Etsy shop for Valentine's Day! I love cutting out little hearts by hand, and after cutting out a couple hundred (at least), I realized I had way more then I would need for tags or whatever. :)

So.....I decided to list some packs of hearts only. I just love how they look all together. It's all part of the paper addiction I think!!

I have other things in the works, but am trying to get a few custom orders mailed out first...then back to creating new tags.

Have a wonderful day~

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a great holiday! Boy, it sure does get busy. Now that it's 2008 and the holidays are over, I feel ready to get back into everything. The house is pretty much back in order and I am trying to find my creative side again. I am getting some Valentine tags ready for ETSY and think I might make some chipboard albums too.....but not quite sure what I exactly want to do. I always have the greatest ideas in the shower or late at night while I'm lying in bed, but once the day starts and there are "distractions" I seem to forget all those ideas. Ugh.

Anyway, I always like to post some here are a few things I worked on in December. Not much. The tins were gifts for my daughter's preschool teachers (they are filled with Hershey Nuggets that are also decorated on the outside.) :)

Happy January!
