Hello! I hope you all are having a great Saturday. I have not been crafting as much as I would like lately. The last few weeks seem to have been busy with my son's birthday, Easter, visiting my Mother-in-Law after her knee replacement, and the whole family being sick as well. Ugh. We are also expecting baby #3, our last addition to the family, except maybe a dog in future years to come (WAY into the future!)....so I feel the need to purge some of the "stuff" that seems to accumulate so quickly when you have kids. I have been trying to do that too (slowly). AND...we still need to get the baby's room ready, but are trying to figure out if my daughter is old enough to share a room with her (the baby is a girl!). So......we are on "hold" with that project for the moment. All of the bedding and goodies are purchased......just ready for a home. I *love* it! It's a shabby pink & blue floral set from Pottery Barn Kids. We even have the matching set for my older daughter.......hope that plan works out!
I have lots of new stamps, paper & fun supplies that are calling my name and patiently waiting to be turned into something POSH & PRETTY......maybe a little fun too. Hopefully this weekend I can get somethings finished and put into the shop! I keep starting new projects...now I just need to finish some. ;)
I thought I'd share a picture of one of my favorite quilts made by my 91 year old Grandma Vera. She no longer is able to quilt, but has made hundreds in her lifetime. For some reason I just love this one!! My sister was lucky enough to get this one. :)
I seem to think I am going to make a baby quilt in the coming month or so and picked up an assortment of really pretty flannels in pink & sage green. I'll have to take a picture and share with my blog friends. I have tons of chenille that I want to mix with it. We'll see if I can actually complete that project.
~Have a wonderful Saturday!
Linda
